Donna Taylor is the Founder and CEO of DT Films, an award-winning filmmaker dedicated to inclusion and powerful storytelling. She has produced three feature films, with Finding My Voice set for release in early 2026 and The Refuge currently in pre-production with BAFTA-winning, Emmy-nominated director Tracy Rooney. Leading DT Films, Donna is building a creative film family that brings untold stories to the screen while empowering diverse and emerging talent.
Neil is an award winning film maker with over 30 years of experience as an advertising Creative Director, Neil has worked in all sectors, in all media both nationally and internationally. He spent many years working in agencies like Leo Burnett, Ogilvy and Razorfish; before starting his own film making company called Sounds & Pictures Ltd.
Andy is a successful entrepreneur with over 22 years of business experience, bringing a proven track record in strategy, growth, and building lasting partnerships. He combines commercial insight with a strong ability to connect people and ideas, making him a driving force behind DT Films’ expansion and long-term vision.
With more than 15 years of rugby coaching, including international experience, Andy has developed a deep understanding of leadership, motivation, and teamwork — qualities he applies directly to business development and the collaborative world of film production. His role focuses on forging strategic partnerships, shaping growth initiatives, and ensuring each project aligns with the company’s wider objectives.
Outside of work, Andy is a dedicated family man who enjoys spending time with his wife and children. He is also a passionate artist with a strong creative eye, and balances this with an active lifestyle that includes parkour and coaching.
Tracy Rooney is a BAFTA-winning, Emmy-nominated writer and director whose work champions inclusion and powerful storytelling. She has been closely involved in the development of both current and future projects, including The Refuge, and continues to play a key role in shaping our creative vision across a diverse slate of projects.
Jane Gull is an award-winning British writer-director and BAFTA voting member whose films, including My Feral Heart and Love Without Walls, have earned critical acclaim and spotlighted overlooked communities. Aligned with DT Films’ mission of inclusion and powerful storytelling, Jane works alongside Donna to champion projects that create real impact and opportunities for underrepresented voices.
Belinda is a creative and talented performer and teacher, with over 26 years with the renowned Chickenshed Theatre company and their educational programs. She recently moved into film. Belinda worked on the TV series ‘Lord of the Rings’ as Production Assistant to the stunt coordinator. She is very much involved in all areas of the company, working closely with Donna. Her exceptional organisational skills and warm approach on set make her a great addition to our film family.
Susan originates from Cork in Ireland but, has lived and worked in London for many years. She is an actor, writer, script consultant and is diverse in her skill set when required. Susan has collaborated with Donna Taylor for many years and she reflects the ethos of DT Film Productions. Together with their continued passion for making a difference through film they are the driving force behind the projects of DT Film Productions.
Herbs Johnson is one of our original team members. He organises the sets whilst assisting the director, DOP and crew. He is also an established actor with major films to his credit including Scum, Pressure and Full Metal Jacket.
Essex based Linda Addis has many years of experience in the film industry. Linda ensures DT Film Productions are very well organised and run smoothly.
